TRANSACTIONS POLICY

We encrypt certain sensitive information (such as credit card information) using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to ensure that your Personally Identifiable Information is safe as it is transmitted. Before purchasing tickets, merchandise, making donations or registering for membership, carefully review the payment details.

 

REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS

Unless otherwise stated, all sales are 100% NON-REFUNDABLE. Policies set forth by Queen’s College’s affiliates, including venues, promoters and event organizers, generally prohibit issuing exchanges or refunds after a purchase has been made for or lost, stolen,(damaged or destroyed in terms of tickets or merchandise). You agree that you will not attempt to evade, avoid, or circumvent those prohibitions in any manner with regard to items you purchased. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, you will not contact Queen’s College to seek a refund or exchange and you will not dispute or otherwise seek a “chargeback” from the company whose credit card you used to purchase products from the site. Should you do so, your purchase may be cancelled, and Queen’s College may, in its sole discretion, refuse to honour reserved and future purchases made from all credit card accounts or online accounts on which such chargebacks have been made, and may prohibit all persons in whose name the credit card accounts exist and any person who accesses any associated online account or credit card or who otherwise breaches this provision from using the site.

 

AUTOMATIC/RECURRING PAYMENTS

An Automatic/Recurring Payment is a payment that occurs at regular or predetermined intervals over a specified time period. A monthly donation to Queen’s College is one type of Automatic Payment.

With Automatic/Recurring Payments, by authorizing Queen’s College to charge your linked preferred payment processor for the subscription fees associated with your subscription plan, you are authorizing Queen’s College to automatically continue charging that payment processor (or any replacement payment method account if the original account fails) for all fees or charges associated with your subscription plan including any renewal fees. You allow the payment processor to pay any amounts described herein and authorize Queen’s College to continue to attempt to charge all sums described herein to your account until such amounts are paid in full. Queen’s College will notify you in advance of any change in the amount to be charged for a recurring subscription.

In order to purchase a Queen’s College subscription/membership plan, you must link one payment processor as provided by Queen’s College (Visa/Mastercard). By allowing Queen’s College to authorize subscription payments for your account, you (i) are providing Checkout Information that it is true and accurate; (ii) authorize Queen’s College to charge you for the applicable service, and (iii) authorize Queen’s College to charge you for any other paid features of the applicable service that you choose to sign up for or use. You agree to provide Queen’s College with updated Checkout Information upon First Atlantic Commerce’s request and any time the information earlier provided is no longer valid.

By purchasing a subscription plan, you accept that your payment details are stored with Queen’s College and/or its payment platform providers for the purpose of processing and completing the payment of the service. You may withdraw your purchase of a specific subscription plan without giving any reason thereto provided that such withdrawal is made within 7 days of purchasing a paid subscription plan. You waive, to the extent permitted by applicable mandatory consumer protection law, any and all rights to withdraw from any purchase. Once the 7 days are over, your purchase shall be deemed final. Subscription plan purchases are non-refundable after this point and recurring payments must be manually cancelled.

To cancel For cancellation of Recurring/Automatic Payments and Subscriptions, you can log into the website and navigate to Your Account Page to manage or cancel your payments. To request cancel a recurring payment Click on My Subscriptions and to see your subscription order details of cost and frequency or to cancel a subscription. From here you will get an email notification to confirm and finalizing cancellation of the subscription.
