REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

FOUNDATION AND PRIMARY YEARS STUDENTS

AFTERNOON CLASSES

Parents are required to register students for afternoon classes through the Centre for Further Education, either through the online portal or at the CFE office located at the northern entrance of the Village Road campus.  During the week of the semester prior to the beginning of classes, the CFE office will be open at 7:00 am - 5:00 pm to accommodate parents. After this period, any parent wishing to register the child(ren) for afternoon classes must do so during normal business hours, Monday - Thursday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Fridays 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.

 

HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

SAT/PSAT

Students interested in registering for SAT/PSAT classes will do so on the dates scheduled and published by QC CFE.  The office hours will be Monday - Thursday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Fridays 8:00 am to 3:00 pm on the days published.  Students wishing to register for classes outside of the time would be required to visit the CFE office located at the northern entrance of the Village Road; all students are welcome to register via the online portal.  Instructs for above are queen’s college teachers

 

NON-QC STUDENTS

Students interested in registering in person for professional development courses, workshops and/or special interest classes must do so normal business hours, Monday - Thursday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Fridays 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.  Students can register online at any time. Registration will close after the first week of class. 

 

  1. Visit the CFE office located at the northern entryway of the Village Road entrance of the campus.

  2. Complete an application form

  3. Complete a registration form indicating which courses you wish to be registered for.

  4. Pay the Registrar and obtain a receipt

  5. The Registrar will furnish accounts with a detailed outline of registered students for each class and total funds.

  6. Students names will not appear on the class list unless they have paid for classes

  7. Late registration will be the first week of classes.  After this period if enrollment does not meet the required amount to run the class the class will be cancelled and students will be fully reimbursed for the class (s).

 

 

CLASS LIST

At the beginning of the second week of class, each instructor will be furnished with a class list.  Only students who have paid for classes will appear on this list. Any student who does not appear on this list should not be allowed in class.  These students should be directed to the CFE office for processing.
