About the Course
Intro to Swimming for Adults (Level 2) is designed to accomplish the requisite skills to further enhance swimming for health, safety, fitness and fun. Correct breathing, balance, kicking, freestyle techniques, backstroke and breaststroke will be covered in this course.
Students are encouraged to progress at their own pace, while being challenged to enhance their skills and reach clear attainable goals. Successful freestyle stroke at a minimum of 25 meters unassisted (without stopping) will be a final goal of this course. Students will also be tested on backstroke and breaststroke competency with mastery of the proper stroke techniques.
Improve your freestyle technique which includes correct breathing & coordination of the stroke
Learn two (2) other strokes: backstroke and breaststroke
Acquire proper streamline and pull-outs for all three strokes
