Art and Craft (Phase 1 - Grade 2)

This course is for young students who have an interest in or enjoy arts and crafts time, who would like to spend more time making art! Whether it be drawing, painting, collaging or sculpting students will explore many different mediums and techniques. Students do not need experience with art supplies and techniques as this is a beginner course designed for our youngest comets.

Students will be able to:

• Draw with appropriate control and technique

• Paint with appropriate control and technique

• Identify primary and secondary colors

• Identify types of lines

• Use basic color theory techniques

• Express themselves artistically

• Use different art mediums and techniques
